Connections between network elements can be tricky with all of the restrictions and security required to function in today’s networks. NETCONF Call Home enables a NETCONF server in a network element to "call home" to a NETCONF client in a controller or orchestrator resulting in a secure connection.
Download our “NETCONF Call Home and ConfD” application note to better understand the NETCONF Call Home feature, how it is implemented in ConfD, and how it can be exercised using some simple utility programs and shell scripts.
Sincerely,

IECI Telecom a provider of ELASTIC network solutions, needed a way to develop products that are interoperable with all of the different vendors present in the typical IT environment. Read how ConfD Basic, the free version of ConfD, delivered the NETCONF northbound interface and programmability required to update their legacy management plane.
Did you know that Tail-f provides a free version of ConfD called ConfD Basic as a way for vendors to develop programmable NETCONF and YANG enabled products? Vendors can now quickly and easily develop programmable network elements.
Get to Know ConfD and YANG Through the ConfD User Community Forum
It has been four years since we launched the ConfD User Community Forum, the best place for ConfD users to interact with one another and share knowledge about ConfD as well as general NETCONF and YANG discussion. It has been amazing to watch the conversations that are being held week after week.
