Registration is now open for “ConfD Developer Days 2019,” our annual conference for ConfD application developers. This year's event will be held again at the Westin Hotel in downtown San Jose, California on Oct. 22 and 23. We invite you to join us to build upon your network programmability and automation knowledge and be inspired by fellow ConfD users and experts. This annual event provides an excellent opportunity for you to meet and share knowledge with other ConfD application developers.
Learn what’s happening now and what’s next for network programmability from the viewpoint of a ConfD application developer, including new ConfD features and how to use them, advanced application debugging techniques, NSO driven interop as a tool for testing, distributed network wide transactions, our very popular “Ask an Expert Over Lunch” event, plus much more.
This year’s event will also include a “ConfD Boot Camp” break-out session for new users of ConfD to help build a foundation of the basics of ConfD application development. Attendees will also receive a copy of the exciting new book "Network Programmability with YANG," co-written by our very own Jan Lindblad.
We are looking forward to seeing you in person at ConfD Developer Days 2019.
Sincerely,
Sal LiRosi, Head of ConfD Sales & Business Development at Cisco
TACACS+ is a very popular authentication and authorization system found in use in many networks. This month’s application note “Using TACACS+ Authentication with ConfD” takes a look at how to interface TACACS+ authentication with ConfD.
Read this application notes to find out how easy it is to integrate ConfD’s external authentication feature with a TACACS+ authentication server using a simple Python script.
Network Programmability with YANGNetworks continue to evolve and are quickly moving at light speed. To manage and maintain such growth can require incredible skills and effort to scale the network and its functionality. Finding the right approach and solutions to take the once labor intensive network management functions and automate them has opened the door accelerating programmability in the network. Read the latest book “Network Programmability with YANG” to help guide you through successfully applying network programmability best practices based on YANG data models. Additionally, a free copy will be provided to all ConfD Developer Days attendees. |
