As many of you know, our ConfD Developer Days 2018 is now only two weeks away. We here at Tail-f/Cisco are quite excited given the depth of the material that will be covered this year and the great turnout that is expected. In fact, we have people flying in from all ends of the globe to attend this year’s event.
This only adds to our motivation to make the event a great success for everyone and to make it as informative as possible for all. We will have no less than 20 people in attendance representing the Tail-f/Cisco organization from engineering, support, and field technical teams. We are very much looking forward to networking with our customers and facilitating valuable interactions amongst attendees.
For those of you still considering attending, we do have a few slots remaining. Discounts may also be available for ConfD customers, please contact your account manager.

When I think back to how we used to manage our devices, I am struck by how primitive and limiting the old methods were. I used to be involved in the design and programming of embedded systems and network attached devices. The vast majority of the time, management of what we were making was the last thing on our minds.
Read how Tail-f ConfD helped Datacom to revitalize its product line while decreasing development time to quickly deliver its network operating system to enterprises and service providers. Datacom can now focus on R&D that will meet its customers’ growing needs rather than investing engineering resources into developing management plane services and interfaces.
Listen to Light Reading Sr. Analyst, James Crawshaw and our very own John Lawitzke, ConfD Product Manager as they discuss the network equipment provider (NEP) market and the period of unprecedented changes happening now due to advanced approaches including SDN and NFV.
