For some high security requirement applications, ConfD’s out-of-the-box built-in crypto support, which is based on OpenSSL libcrypto, may not be sufficient. The best approach to achieving FIPS mode support is to upgrade to ConfD 7.2 and make use of the new ConfD FIPS mode feature.

ConfD Forum - Come Learn and ShareOur ConfD User Community Forum is the key place to keep tabs on all things network programmability. Since day one, there have been incredible conversations that fulfill our mission to look beyond just the product and help drive greater adoption of NETCONF and YANG. The ConfD community of users has stepped up to provide helpful insights, interesting answers to hard questions, and exact code to help other ConfD developers to improve the functionality of their network elements. If you haven't joined yet, you are missing out on something important - get involved and learn from the community. |
We are a couple of weeks away from ConfD Developer Days 2019. As such, we wanted to give a totally biased view of why you should join us this year on October 22-23 in San Jose, CA.
While some people think programmability happens as soon as you add a (RESTful) API to your software, we believe it is only meaningful to talk about programmability when the API delivers business agility.
Based on upgrades of underlying technology inside ConfD 7.2, ConfD has introduced support of the FIPS mode feature.
In this blog I want to spend a little bit of time discussing exactly what the EANTC Interoperability Testing event is and how it works when you participate.
